Brigil

Founded by Gilles Desjardins, Brigil is headquartered in Gatineau and has operated in the real estate sector since 1985. The company focuses on the development, construction, and management of residential and mixed-use projects, including apartments, condominiums, single-family homes, and commercial areas. Brigil is active in Gatineau, Ottawa, and surrounding areas, with communities located in both urban cores and suburban sectors.​

Since its creation, Brigil has built more than 14,000 housing units and owns nearly 4,000 rental units, about 2,000 of which are under construction. Its portfolio includes projects such as The Dale in Ottawa, Le Columbia and Canevas in Gatineau, and Petrie’s Landing in Orléans. The company plans to develop more than 44,000 additional units over the next decades in approximately forty communities across the National Capital Region.​
