Groupe Kevlar is a real estate developer based in Montreal, active in the residential, rental and industrial sectors in Quebec since 1996.

In 1996, René Bellerive founded S.E.C. Kevlar in Montreal, initially active in real estate brokerage and generating in three years an annual transaction volume of more than $125M. Starting in 2004, the company inaugurated a new head office in Montreal and launched the Sax and Jazz banners, notably completing phases I, II and III of the Sax complex on Île-des-Sœurs as well as several Jazz retirement residences in Sainte-Foy, Longueuil, Drummondville, Lebourgneuf and Lévis. Between 2009 and 2012, S.E.C. Kevlar continued the development of its banners and numerous private and government projects, reaching a total track record of more than $700M in real estate investments.

Groupe Kevlar carries out projects in several segments, including rental apartments, condominiums and industrial buildings. Among its recent or ongoing projects are notably Noria Apartments in Ville Saint-Laurent, Nära Apartments and Bloome Apartments in Gatineau, as well as industrial and residential projects in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. The company has also developed condominium projects in downtown Montreal, including Gatsby Condominiums and Sax sur-le-fleuve in the Old Port of Montreal. Its activities are mainly concentrated in Quebec, in the greater Montreal area, the Quebec City region and Outaouais.
