Société de Développement Angus

The Société de développement Angus (SDA) is a social economy enterprise based in Montreal, focused on urban revitalization and the redevelopment of industrial areas. It works to regenerate urban environments through the creation of mixed and sustainable living spaces that combine residential, commercial, and community functions.

Established following the transformation of the former Angus Shops, the SDA has become a key player in urban development in Montreal. Its approach is based on collaboration with local communities and guided by the principles of social innovation.

The Société de développement Angus has completed several major projects, including the Technopôle Angus and Carrefour Saint-Laurent in Montreal. It plans to build 1,001 affordable housing units in the coming years in Montreal and Rimouski. Its projects include award-winning eco-districts and environmentally certified buildings that contribute to the revitalization of key urban neighborhoods.​
