Discover… Tetreaultville
Tetreaultville, also called Mercier-Est, is located at the east of the island of Montreal, in the borough Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, and bordered by George Avenue to the east, the St. Lawrence to the south, the Louis-H. Lafontaine Highway to the west and the roads located to the south of Yves Prevost Boulevard. Tetreaultville is bordered by Anjou, Mercier and Montréal-Est. The neighbourhood is mostly francophone, but has a significant number of new immigrants (10%). An erstwhile popular neighbourhood comprised mostly of apartments, Tetreaultville has regained popularity since the early 2000's. As a result, many condo and even housing projects have been completed. The area will interest first-time buyers who want to benefit from a neighbourhood that provides easy access to the rest of Montreal thanks to Sherbrooke Street, the Louis-H. Lafontaine highway and public transit.
