Can we get rich easily with flips?

The question of the hour. Let's say that "rich" is subjective, and "quickly" too!

• To realize a lucrative flip, it is necessary to take the time to analyze well the sector targeted and the costs of the work to be carried out.
• In 2013, the median gain for a single-family property flipped was 33%. The median profit (all buildings combined) was 24%. (JLR recherche immobilière painted a portrait of the flips market in Quebec between 2009 and 2013, in a study published in May 2014). But keep in mind that flips are not without risks, and that horror stories exist!
• Some basic mistakes to avoid: over-renovation, poorly insuring property and looking for bargains only through traditional channels.
